I would check the wiring to make sure you do not have a break in the wire itself.

Make sure to check if any fuses are blown, it could be the master switch. If you just tried a random switch out of a junk yard then you may of received the wrong one. These window switch for the 03 Tahoe are checked by vin to make sure you have the right one.
