    Just an idea... pick up a used radio from ebay or craigslist and then bring it to another dealer. I install stereos and remote starters and the dealers pull this nonsense all the time. I just picked up a 2013 Tahoe and asked the guy and he said as long as the wire harness is not cut or spliced...

    Sounds like a bad ground. I had to go to one of the chevy dealers here and remove a remote start that was being blamed for the same reasons your describing. Pulled the remote start and still had the problem. All that was on the repair bill was faulty ground drivers side. That's all I know. I...

    Daytime running light issue

    Drl's only come on in drive. Turn car on (don't actually start) set e brake or do this on level ground and put the truck in drive to see them. They will not come on if it is too dark out.

    Just because a factory remote start is easily hacked doesn't mean they are all vulnerable. Any car can be broken into or stolen. If they want it they will take it. OP Go for which remote you like the best. Any one can have the window up or down added with a few extra modules.

    The best fm modulator on the market is an isimple is77. Its not like the cheap wirless ones. It is like a good fm station sound wise. We use them all the time. Cheapest way to get audio into the stock deck.
