Finally...pics of the painted GMC emblem!

Did you mean that the Denali grill just clips on? Or were you saying that the emblem could be painted while still on the vehicle? I thought about just taping the entire front end off with some newspaper, but I chickened out...I got scared of wind and poor tape seams by a noob like me.

Finally...pics of the painted GMC emblem!

I may get blasted for this, but I used the cheap stuff from Autozone...small aerosol cans. :shhh: Total (2000 grit sandpaper, tape, primer, paint & clearcoat) was about $35. I also bought some 3M adhesive remover...I think it was about $20, but it was worth it. The adhesive on the rear badge...

Finally...pics of the painted GMC emblem!

Jasnite, I took the whole grill off and taped it. I used painters tape around the chrome in the logo. Then, I cut a hole in a sheet and covered the rest of the grill. Lastly, I taped the sheet all around the tape on the logo. The great thing was that the paint didn't really adhere to the...

    2007 Yukon Grill

chad, thanks for the help...you were 100% correct...after the first clip, it was pretty much smooth sailing. I will say this...the first clip finally came through after I took the "At this point, I don't care if I break it" perspective. I guess I was just being to careful earlier. Thanks...

    Gas and Oil Additive

It seems odd to me that they would make claims regarding monetary savings per gallon...wouldn't this fluctuate based on the price, grade and current fuel efficiency of the gas you currently use? It seems to me that their claims would make more sense if expressed in terms of percentages or mpgs...

    2007 Yukon Grill

I can't seem to figure out the last steps necessary to take this thing off. I've unscrewed all the bolts on top and the two near the bottom...it seems to be catching somewhere on the bottom...any ideas?

So I get this left on my windshield Friday night...

For the record, many of your so-called "foreign" cars are made in our backyard by AMERICANS...in addition, many of your so-called "domestic" cars are owned by FOREIGN companies.

    Dropping the Yukon...

I've seen a few threads mentioning 2/3 drops...is this 2" in the front and 3" in the rear? Also, what will this entail on my end? I've looked at this Eibach Pro Kit... http://www.autoanything.com/suspension-systems/61A2633A0A0.aspx?kc=ffproduct&from_search=1 I'm not sure if this is all...
