I was going to pull it off after thinking about the system for a couple of days... I thought that maybe that it fell off and it turns but just isn't turning to open the door. I still have the dash somewhat torn apart and I'll try that next. If that isn't the problem.... what could it be next...

Well today i installed a replacement heater control panel in the dash and the air never heated up. I played with the other switches and all of the other functions work. I am guessing that i should replace the heater water control valve next. Also I felt the hoses running to the heater water...
