    NEW Wheels

tpms be sure you check the year of the sensors. on 04 yukons only the 04 sensors will work with the 04 computers. took a while, and a lot of research, but '03 and prior are compatible, and '05-'06 work together, but the '04s are stepchildren and only work with themselves.

another newb question RE SNOW USE

DHart: Discovery HT 265/70/17 and they have been great. quiet, stay balanced and wearing good. ncwchockey14: snow, dirt road, sand yep. leave in gear and go. probably wouldn't do it on rain unless it was real heavy with plenty on the road. don't do it on dry pavement.

another newb question RE SNOW USE

tires keep in mind that if you go with an aggresive tread you will kill any refinement the denali was supposed to have. i had an '00 yukon slt that i put a/t tires on and it rode ok, handled less, and was noisy as hell from the tires. when i replaced the tires on the 'nali i went with coopers...

    6.2 L Question

denali don't know about the 6.2, but on the 6.0 it was different pistons that made the compression 10.1 instead of 9.whatever. the escalade had domed pistons instead of dished ones.

another newb question RE SNOW USE

chains the concern for damage in the wheel wells is a valid one. the brake lines, sensors for the autoride and electirc lines for the magnetic (if equipped) shocks are all in there, and the clearance is tight. the chains I have experience with are 1/2 to 3/4 inch wide links and they are not...

another newb question RE SNOW USE

snow go guys, the torque split on the gm awd's is 60/40 with 60 to the rear. the real question comes to the tires. the a/s tires on mine aren't very good in the snow, but adequate. I haven't seen many 'nalis with AT or mud tires. The clearance in the front wheel wells is tight. no lawyer...

Going to Snowshoe in a 2wd Tahoe

should be good I've driven there a dozen or times over the years. Used to have a '74 oldsmobile wagon, made it no problem even when there was snow on the road. make sure you go off the back of the hill and hit cupp run a couple times!!

    head swap

Anybody done an L92 head swap onto a LQ4? I read an article where a mag did this on a stock 6.0 and got like 550hp with a mild cam. Parts guy here says I have to use the L73 intake, which won't work on a truck because of the serpentine belt location. These heads are not expensive and are...

    TPMS Tire Pressure Monitor Problem

tpms I had the same problem on my nali. Come to find out, the tpms sensors and computer on an '04 only work for an '04. So if you got wheels from an '05 or later, or aftermarkt sensors that weren't specifically for an '04 they won't work together. if the new ones are off an '04 then you...
