Could be a dead spot on the Starter. I had one a long time ago that did something similar. When it happened, I rotated the starter by pulling on the belts then trying again. I finally just replaced the starter once i figured out what it was.

I just rolled 100K on mine also. I just changed the oil and went with synthetic, changes sparkplugs and am going to have the differental fluids changed also. My tranny was replaced at 79K so I am not doing anything on that right now. Mine still runs like a champ. I was having some MPG issues...

Do the CAI increase the voume of the vehicle? I like the quiteness of the vehicle which is one of the reasons I bought mine, but don't want it to sound like some tricked out ride.

Thanks Grocery Getter. I am not a leadfoot I have been keeping a close eye on the RPM and very rarely go over 2200. Can you tell me what a CAI is as well as a PCm tune? I will probably throw some plugs in but it runs pretty well and idles at about 450 RPM. Thanks again for the info...

Hi all, I am a Tahoe newbee as I just purchased an 04 LT with close to 100K on it. Good deal for pulling the camper. Anyway several people I talk to who drive there Tahoe/Yukons/Suburbans in a similar fashion are getting around 14-15 MPG in town while I am getting 10-11. Even on the highway...
