I got the Hypertech Max Engergy...A friend got it for me, but I know it was $406 with tax at my local summit racing.

Anyone know the stock diameter of our exhaust pipes? Im going to order either a flowmaster or magnaflow and jsut install it myself but dont know what the diameter of the tubing is...anyone know?

how are ya'll hooking them to the positive of the battery? its impossible with the connector mines got. I had to hook it to the red box near the motor.

Too true. I'd been kind of dissapointed with the ride in my tahoe lately. After these new tires, and an alignment, I can't believe the difference in ride quality. It drives fantastic and is so much quieter than before. I'm really pleased with the tires.

I recently got new tires on my tahoe. I ended up going to a 265/75/16, i got the Toyo Open Country H/Ts. So far i love the tires. They ride super smooth, and are extremely quiet. I also had my torsion bars cranked up a bit and raised the front end of the truck about 1" to help level it...

I just went to 265/75s and my mileage did go down a bit. generally going to a larger tire is gonna hurt your mileage.

Nope...don't have Bose. I was at Best Buy and those guys aren't very knowledgeable. I asked them what I needed to buy and they said just the head unit. They said I would need to be a wiring harness only if I wanted to retain my OnStar...Is that true? Or do i need to buy a wiring harness...

Nice flames! looks great. Some nice LED tails would look great on your truck! I think gettin rid of the GMC on the grill and gettin rid of the front license plate would really clean the front end up as well!

Alright, i've decided to go with the D3. It seems i can get it new with the ipod cable for $650ish. What else do i need to buy to install it in my truck? I'm going to do the install myself. I've installed a few stereos, but they have always come with the neccessary brackets/trim rings...
