    Crank Sensor Removal...Problems

    I removed the timing cover, took it to Autozone for a plastic replacement one, and he pulled the brass sleeve out by unscrewing it with a pair of pliers...just put the pliers at the base of the brass sleeve and turn it counter clockwise...I felt so stupid for going thru all that trouble...

    Crank Sensor Removal...Problems

    Hi, my new amigos..question for my "Hoe". Im changing the Crank Sensor on a 99, 2wd, 5.7...what came out was the plastic part with the magnet (part# DR6200)..and what remains is what appears to be a brass sleeve stuck in the Timing Chain Cover, that will not allow the autozone replacement part...
