What does everyone think about the PIAA airdam? some fog lights that actually do somthing. Im not too sure but i think it would look cool on a lowered truck?

the only chrome i had was the front and rear bumpers and grille. and yes i painted all three. no major chipping yet.

All that is is a relay. You can go to the autoparts store and spend alot less than 15.00. looks like there is still some wiring needed with that "kit".

Gloss...looks way better on our body style. The new tahoe has a more edgy stelth bomber-ish look. If you had a 07 or 08 i would say FLAT all the way. Still thinkin about that long weekend...?...?..:rolleyes:

Is the check engine light coming on? You might have some kind of vacuum/air leak. Check all of the clamps and you Mass Aiflow Sensor. thats all i can think of. I installed a 57 series intake and went out and hauled a$$ right after, no problems..

If you pull the plastic off the upper radiator support you can reach behind and you dont have to pull the whole grille. a little more time efficient...

Wal-Mart sells a headlight oxidation fix kit. It comes in a foil looking bag and all it has is 1500 grit sand paper and 2000 grit sand paper. then 2 types of a sealer substance(looks like automotive clear coat) did it on the moms old lexus and the lights are still shining brghtly.

Doorchime on the '00-'02 comes from the BCM, only on the 2003 and up does it come from the driver speaker. And as for onstar, it shouldnt work anymore anyway.(analog) headunit is an easy install and so are the speakers, there should be a post with somthing like "door panel removal help" just...

try using your 2001 bumper brackets on the 2005 bumper. from what i have heard the 2005 brackets should work....Should being the keyword.

I got the flowmaster kit and it came with 2 different cat-to-muffler pipes. One for 00-01 and one for 02+. Muffler and back are the same. It looked like the transmission crossmember was diferent. That's about it...
