    I had similar issues and it turned out being the transfer case shift sensor. The check 4wd light may be on or not. Its about a $200 repair and is a common problem with this transfer case.

    Bug Deflector Removing the deflector off the front fixed my bugs hitting the windshield noise. Did you glue the plastic to the metal ?
