cut off is well, where the light is cutoff. Projectors excel at this. Reflectors dont. But the D1R hids from TYV still have a great beam paddern having an HID reflector and are DOT.
If you mean the switch by panel. I used 3m tape. but that is because I was going through the steel bed of my truck, in the back of an SUV You could use the included screwes.
Im going tommarrow to NAPA auto to get a couple inline fuses and splice them in, as well as re wire them to the...
they look plastic in the pics. Have that wired haze. But IDK. If I was gunna get the glass lights I would get the 100 dollar ones. IMO you should not skimp on headlights. They are all you have to see at night in some areas.
I didnt have to drill other than for the switch. Which sits nicly on the left side. Directly to the left of the tail gate. Works great, I need to wire a 3 way switch, right now its On and off. and On only matters if its in reverse.
BTW, I super charged my lights too.
Flash was on, in...
I was searching for a yukon forum, this was the closest I could get. LOL. But I dont think we sticky enough threads on here. Like the re occuring tahoe problems, and Info ON HIDS, Rims, BB tune, and why does my tahoe do this?
Ok. Outside the truck facing the grill. Inner bulbs are the highbeam (the ones that pop on when you flick the inner stalk)
outer ones are the low beams, which if you want HIDs for the lows you need 9006.
I cheated, their just tapped in to the reverse light circuit. They come on with the rev lights and go off Routing was easy and I have wired a switch in to it. But keep in mind this is on my silverado. Routing wires through a hollow bed is alot easier than rouding through the interior of an SUV.
you would probably be best just starting fresh. Here for 60 bucks you need a 9006 HID kit Pick your color. 4300k is brightest, 5000k is pure white, 6000k has blue, 8000k is deep blue, 10000k is blueish purplish, 12000k Is PURPLE!.

projector conversion kit is very time consuming and very hard. I would reccommend you just stick to the DDM kits right now. Plenty bright.
What could be done with your DRLS and what I also did to my 06 was I fabed some H3 bulbs in the DRLs and they were jumpered to come on with the highbeams...
honestly not sure. I was thinking about taking them to a local rim shop and seeing what they will give me if I buy some 16's from them. I will let you know what I find on that. k??:cool2:
I think its perfect. I love the rubber showing. When the black is all shiny, the crome is sparkly. the 16" are perfect. Plus they ride alot better. Im ready to sell my 18 esky wheels for some 16" again.
first of all D2S is what you would buy for a car with stock HIDS in a projector. You have stock halagon reflectors and even with your escalde front end it still takes 9006 bulbs. You need 9006 bulbs for them to fit in your housing. SO even if you get your D2S bulbs connected, they wont fit in...
