I live in Idaho and the town I live in just got its first REAL snow of the winter. I have never used the 4X4 in my 99 Tahoe before so I figured id test it out. When I first bought it I tested the buttons, on the dash, to make sure they would engage 4x4. I switched from 2 to 4hi then back to 2...
First thing I would do is replace the fuse that controls the ECM. Second, did you disconnect the Neg. battery cable when changing the fuel filter? If not it would have reset the ECM. Or you could either have a bad ECM or bad power/ground supply. You need to do a pin test with a fluke meter...
Hmm, maybe they put it on later 90s models. If you crawl into the back you can probably remove the door panel and open it manually. Or remove the handle
Does yours have the lock/unlock button on the rear pillar? On the passenger side near the roof? Try that if it does, if not it looks like your calling a locksmith.
Does anyone know the colors of the speaker wires for the rear doors and which are +\-? I went to replace mine and it doesn't match up to watch I found online. The LR door is white/tan the RR door is red/brown, that isn't what came up when I Googled it. Does anyone know for sure what the colors are?
Mine did the same thing after driving in the rain, I assumed it was a starter issue. I turn the ignition multiple times real quick then it fired right up.
I am actually not sure, the lift kit was already on there when I bought it. I am in the process of trying to figure it out though. I haven't come across any identifying markers yet, just a few part numbers but they aren't tracing to anything online.
what it is
It is actually part of your fuel system. It is the fuel system evap canister, there is a hose from your fuel line and another thatr line goes into the system purge valve/solenoid.
Hey everyone Im new to the site. I just bought a 99 Tahoe. I've been on a forum before, for my 65 Buick, and I find these sites to be very helpful. How do I find Tahoe or Chevy specific off-road clubs? :893karatesmiley-thu
