De-badged rear & added chrome liftgate upper

Hey folks. Been a while since I've posted anything, so I thought I'd share my most recent mod, even tho it's pretty minor. I debadged the liftgate and added the upper chrome piece and re-located the GMC logo. What do you think? I like it -- much cleaner and maybe a bit "classier".

    site for sore eyes...

Thought about gassing up today just 'cuz the prices are low, and it's my last chance before everyone freaks out for no good reason on Tuesday... Looked at the gauge, and it was still 3/4 full, so nah.... ;) Costco is $2.18 for regular and $2.3X (I can't remember exact price) for Premium here...

GMT900 Backup / Reverse Lights - LEDs or HID?

Thanks Laredo -- I knew I'd get yer attention with this thread... ;) Not sure what I'll do if anything -- just looking for a couple of mods to do before winter. Thanks all for your input!

    2007 Yukon Fog Light Mod

Was agreeing with ya! Nah, I definitely didn't miss your point -- I was agreeing with you. You could probably go the modded route for about $150.00, assuming you keep the stock housings you already have. About $270-280 gets you new OE housings and a decent HID kit and the 9005 connectors...

    2007 Yukon Fog Light Mod

PIAA 600 Seems a bit retarded to even remotely consider $1229.95 for driving lights, unless you're a pro Baja racer or something, and this is literally the ONLY thing that would fit. Anyway, you could build 5 sets of OE fogs retrofitted with 9005 HIDs for that price... Hey, to each...

GMT900 Backup / Reverse Lights - LEDs or HID?

How many of you have swapped out the factory reverse lights for either LEDs or HIDs? I'm thinking of installing LEDs to match the other external LEDs I've put in, but am concerned about light output and I absolutely need to be able to see with the backup camera at night. HIDs are complete...

    2007 Yukon Fog Light Mod

LEDs suck, dude. But, you can get them from www.v-leds.com or www.superbrightleds.com . Just look for any 9005, and follow the instructions at the beginning of the thread to mod the bulb and connect it via 9005 connectors to the stock wiring. Good luck!

what hid (moded) bulb to use for 07 foglights

Not sure what you might be doing...but... ...Read the thread in my sig link. On a GMT900 Yukon, if you're wanting to use 9005 HID bulbs in the fogs, you have to grind down the collar of the bulb to fit into the socket opening of the fog housing. You also have to change the connector on the...

what hid (moded) bulb to use for 07 foglights

If you're referring to a Yukon, then, yes, it's a 9005. Link to my thread in my sig below... Read the whole thread (well, the first page of posts anyway). If you're referring to a Tahoe, I think a 9005 will work, but I seem to recall some people using 880's (or was that on 2006 Hoe's)...

    o8 denali dual cat back

Well, definitely let us know how it turns out -- would be interested to know how much the tubing hangs down once it's complete. All I know is what I've been told by several manufacturers: Magnaflow, Borla, Volant, Corsa. All of them said to me that with the 6.2L / 6 speed AWD Autoride there is...

Completly Shaved Copper & Black Yukon

Looks great man. Say, are those rear drums copper-fied as well? [What year did GM switch to 4-wheel discs, or did that depend on trim level?] I really do love that copper color. If I ever had to re-paint my Denali or turned it into a "show" truck, I'd prolly go for a less-conventional color...

    GM emblem & Debadging

Seriously thought about that for mine. But, I paid some extra $$$$ for these perfectly good factory-installed Denali logos; I'll keep 'em (yeah, I guess I'm a tad vain). :D To each his/her own, right? ;)
