    coming along slowly...

Certainly looks better without that ginormous Z71 roof rack! :smilielol: Agree on the LED tail thing -- but it's looking good man!

Got the yukon freshly tinted! *pics*

Looks good. Looks like the windshield is done too -- you can get away with that in KS? I'd be pulled over in a second here in VA...

Occasional sloppy/harsh shifts on '08 Denali (six-speed auto)

Well, technically for a little more than two calendar years, and three model years, right? I occasionally notice a clunk / rough shift, but it's usually accompanied or preceded by a WOT or some other bit of momentary pre-pubescent / adolescent "fun"... :ktoe:

    Worried about my Voltage

Dealer flashed the BCM. We'll see if it does it's battery drain thing again... If it happens again, hopefully it'll be in the garage or close to home. Prolly not tho, eh? ;)

    GM Recall

Okay so mine's done. Does the wiring harness disable this feature? It seems as if 1) the wipers move somewhat more slowly (I could be imagining this), and 2) I'm not noticing the "heat" in the heated fluid. Anyone here know what exactly the new wiring harness does? I'll go back and read...

    07 Yukon Rotors

New pads are silky smooth and so far completely silent... No more head-turning squeakage here! Just in time too, I was starting to get pretty ticked off every time it squeaked.

    GM Recall

Mine's in getting done today with some other work. I use this feature quite often, even in the summer. Seems it's quite effective at "supercharging" the wiper fluid to get rid of bug guts / bird crap / etc... I'd rather not burn down my house tho, so yeah, I'm happy to have this crossed of my...

    Worried about my Voltage

Pretty sure that's not the case. ;) Twice this month, my Denali (once whilst being detailed with the key sitting in the ignition but not turned, another time with my wife and kids stranded up the road while shopping) has displayed "SERVICE BATTERY CHARGING SYSTEM" and needed to be jumped...

    07 Yukon Rotors

Squeakage = GRRRR No rotor problems here yet, but some seriously squeaky squealy annoying factory pads. It's at the dealer's right now getting the upgraded pads under warranty (TSB's been out for this for a while).

How 'bout snow? Not gonna happen bro! Not in mud anyway... ;) I'll post some snow pics in a month or two when we get some worthy of plowing through! Cool?

GMT900 Backup / Reverse Lights - LEDs or HID?

Yes, HIDs are insanely bright. You could always learn to back your new truck into your own driveway / garage with this mod, and not have to worry about blinding the neighbors...right? ;) Oh, and welcome!

Thanks! I dunno if you were talking to me or ibobby, but since his and my trucks are so similar anyway, "thanks"! ;)

LOL BMWman... You're prolly paying out the arse for bottled water, tho, yes? :smilielol:

De-badged rear & added chrome liftgate upper

Cute. I do all my own mods; I don't have "people". Nobody touches my truck except the GM techs and me. :cool2:

Thanks -- musta been all that wiping!

De-badged rear & added chrome liftgate upper

Thanks RT. I do like it too... I figure most people will realize that it's a Yukon XL, and I left the Denali badging on the sides, (them's the "money" emblems anyway). I did save the YUKON XL badge just in case I want it back someday (prolly not). The dual-backed body adhesive...
