Hey -- question: You guys keep sayin' "10v" or "15v". Aren't fuse capacities measured in Amps? I'm assuming you meant you will install a 15A fuse, right?
Stayed with the stockers here. Too much of a pain to install the load resistors, and the incandescent stock bulbs are much brighter than the LEDs anyway... For now, unless someone comes out with an integrated load resistor LED bulb or something, I'm sticking with my stockers.
NO heat issues here, gang!
Not sure that's the case... Maybe over there in the UAE in 130F degree ambient heat... :smilielol: Not here in North America, not VA at least (Death Valley CA, anyone?)
NO issues after 1 year with 35W 5K HID 9005's in the Denali's fogs. Still as perfect as the...
You're correct -- you must've purchased a vehicle that was not "Certified Used" or "Certified Pre-Owned". According to the site, those vehicles are excluded from the program.
Sorry, I shouldda been more specific!
BTW, congrats on the Escalade -- very nice!
GM would have sent you a postcard in the mail with a code on it. As long as you're the original owner, you're entitled to two years of free updates on 2007's, but you have to order by 12/31/08 if you bought in 2006 and 12/31/09 if you bought in 2007 to get the final update for free. You'll...
Hey, cool -- I won the prize!
We'll see how well it works, but I correctly answered the movie trivia question on www.mrtaillight.com, and won a free Yukon Hi/Fog kit as mentioned in my original post. SWEET!!!!
The kit is a relay harness that connects between the high beam headlight lead and...
That's awesome man -- SEE? I told ya. ;) Now, bottle up some of that love and ship it to me here in VA!
Like I said the other day: get it all in writing.
Come on up to Prince William County -- I'll show you what he means...
Anyway, back to the lights. Post some pics when you do the install. And just get some freakin HIDs in that Yukon already, dude!
Here's an idea, let's answer the OP's question. Seems to be a common problem with this and other forums sometimes... ;)
Yatch07, did you get a usable answer yet, or just a bunch of confusing and related but nevertheless unhelpful info?
My apple is different from your orange, but that's okay, because it's more sour. I have to peel an orange though, and the apple's seeds hurt my teeth, so that's why I get the seedless oranges. Anyone know where to find seedless apples, so they're more like your orange?
Also, I'm concerned...
Uh, yeah, I'd leave it. Why would you go thru the hassle of making an agreement with the used car sales manager to have them take care of it at their expense, then walk away from that before it's fixed? If you walk (er, drive) away now, then to them that means this problem isn't really that...
If you leave it there...
...Make them "make good" on the manager's promise to take care of it! Let them keep it and provide you a loaner until it's fixed. Let the used car manager know how much you appreciate his assistance, and let the service manager know that if they don't take care of...
