I am having the same issue on my 97...but before I fix this issue I want to save up for an aftermarket alarm/remote start.
However, in the mean time, I might have to try that trick...I assume it is just the fact that the remote is higher up in the air. So with that said, if you lift it above...
I don't think it was just the 'awesome cool' posts that got removed. I am unable to find several posts that were of some real substance...I can still see them in my 'subscribed' threads but cannot find them in the actual sections.
I second that, depending on how hard it blows from the other places. I have had air go through all sorts of places even when it was in the off position for all my vehicles ('81 burb, '93 Kon and now my '97 hoe).
Does anyone have some sort of audio system installed under the back seat of a 4dr? Is there enough room for the sub or is that just a good place for you amps, cap, etc.?

I have been thinking of getting a leveling kit for sometime now. From my understanding there are several ways you could do this and the least preferred is modifying your torsion bars. What do you guys think of leveling kits? Should I just save my money for a 4" lift? ...leveling kits cost...
I have always wanted to get dual flowmaster 40's turning and exiting just before the rear tire...I've heard a 70's chevy with this done and it was way LOUD.
I would recommend drilling from within the cab, it will insure you get the exact placement that you are looking for.
I will have to take a look at mine, I found an existing grommet in my firewall that fits 0 guage.
