I got them. Thanks for your help. The manual said to turn them until the blades were facing away from the windshield. My 05 won't let me do that. I didn't have to do it like that. 15 seconds tops after I got it out.:)

Thanks, I just tried this and it still won't work. I've never ran into this problem one other vehicles. I've been searching all over and I can't find anything on it.

I know i'm a dumbass, but how do you change the wiper blades on a yukon? I have an 05. The wiper arm only comes off of the windshield about 4-5 inches. It's not enough to flip it. I've done this on every other car i've owned, but I can get this one. The hinge that let's it come up is...

Me too. I love that 03-07 silverado front end. Especially when they started using the hd hood in 06.

Thanks for the pics. It's not that noticable with the right bolts. I think I'll just do it myself and not worry about getting them filled and painted. I can live with it like that.

Does anyone have any pics of the roof from the top when you just unbolt it like this?

Do you have any pics of the top of the roof? I was thinking of doing this to my yukon. The body shop I use said it will be about $1200 to shave it, fill, and paint. If it doesn't look to bad up top, then I'll just unbolt it.

Which bumpstops did you order? I'm thinking of doing this mod. Is there a lot of difference between the different ones, besides material made from?

I just got a yukon last month. I want to know if the tag mounts(2 white squares) just come out or do I need to drill them out. It seems like they are screwed or bolted in. Thanks in advance for the help.
