I put in a new altenator and now the serpentine belt won't line up. Any suggestions on how to line this up? It's about 3/8 inches off line towards the engine.

Change the fuel filter. Mine did the same thing. I went to pass someone and it would just spit and sputter. On acceration it would take off like a rocket. After changing out the fuel filter, it ran smooth as silk.
