sorry for the late response :( , to answer your question , when the light in the dash comes on the turn signals blink properly. but most of the times when i turn the lever to signal nothing happens. Even weirder sometimes i turn the lever and the blinker will come on after like 10 seconds out...

1997 tahoe - 186.000 miles :) just bought it and it seems like the previous took good care of the engine at least ....it does have a knocking sound...i'm assuming it's a lifter or exhaust leak.
