Did many searches for the particular unit in my Tahoe, and came up with nothing for a vent.. Even the replacement cap and rotor have a note attached referring to the 'moisture issues' in that particular unit.. Guess my 'drilled' vent works a lot better, whether there truly is a vent somewhere...

Did the reset with the disconnect battery thingy, and I restarted to the same 'rapping' noise.. Not a knock.. It reset the P1345 code and the SE light came back on.. Ran it for a minute or two, thinking oil would quiet it down, but nada.... Oil is good.. no cloudiness.. Anti-Freeze is low...
