Just history, I have an 01 Yukon Xl, leather with captain seats. It took so long to find it and we are very happy with it. Just one week before deploying to Iraq 3 years ago the engine went out, could not be sure if it was head gasket or internal engine leak (so they said). No time to fuss so I had engine replaced. When i got back, the interior was about shot for my wife letting the kids eat and drink in the car. The car was paid off so instead of getting a new payment i decided to redo the car. So far the carpet has been replaced, grey burlword paneling installed (molded type), HID projectors, Denali front bumper, Denali front grill, 20" chrome rims with 305's, head rest monitors on all 4 with a drop down from ceiling, Pioneer AVIC-N3 Nav and a Pioneer 6DVD changer. I then changed color from pewter grey to black. For the engine, I have recently installed a throttle body spacer and K&N CAI, increase my MPG from 11.5 to 15. On old engine I would get an easy 16-18 mpg, dont know what is wrong (I know tires dropped a little but issue existed prior). I plan on doing headers and hi-exhaust. I dont know if I want to use a straight pipe or hi-flow cat. I am also planning on recovering the front seats. I have so far invested less than $6K over last 4 years on everything listed above. I purchased the car off of Ebay in 02 for 9K under KBB and at least 12K if I were to get locally. We could not find a used XL with captain seats that was not close to new price.

Anyway, the last thing I need to complete my mod it denali sidesteps along with denali side molding. Can anyone help.
