WTF happened????

I came out of a restaurant today and got in my 06 Tahoe to go home. Went to turn on my bose/ gm radio and got an alert across my navigation screen saying "THEFTLOCK ACTIVATED". Now I understand that this is a theft deterrent but how does the owner de-activate theftlock on the radio. I am sure nobody tried to break into the truck for the 25 minutes I was at the restaurant. I wonder why it self- activated and will this be a recurring issue? Every thing else in the truck seems to work. Will I have to go to a GM dealership to have this de-activated?

Yup - dealer... or if you have a Tech2 you can do it yourself.

no idea how that happened on its own - sucks.

Follow up to original post. Got in the truck about an hour after I got home. Everything works. That is great....hoping it was just a hiccup. Thanks for any help provided
