I have been searching to replace the Gold bowtie on the front of my truck with a chrome one. All that i have found online, do not fit the LTZ models. Do any of you have a link that makes a replacement for the LTZ models?

The LTZ front bowtie is exactly the same as all of the others. If it fits any it fits all.

You will find however that GM won't let people produce bowties anymore so most of the ones for sale are designed to fit inside the outline of the existing bowtie. Not quite as large.

What about removing it and painting it yourself? I've been thinking that mine would look cool with black bowties. Anyone know how to do that??

Reach in behind grill and remove the two speed nuts. May be able to do this by hand or use socket

1 scuff
2 adhesive promoter type primer 2 coats
3 I used 2 coats sandable primer to really smooth 2 coats (then light sanding)
4 base coat 3X
5 clear coat 3X
