Hello everyone,

First time here on the forum. If this one is anything like the Corvette forum I frequent regularly then I'm sure that someone here would be kind enough to help me out a bit.

2011 Tahoe LTZ. A few monhts ago I noticed that the heated seats in the front were not heating. Lights were on the control panel in the door but no heat. After taking a look at everything it appears that the passenger side power was not working either.

So...driver's side AND passenger side seat heaters not working, and the passenger side power adjustments on the fritz as well.

I'm no mechanic but I'm not a dummy either...so I started taking a look at connectors and stuff (at least the ones I could get at). There is a connector under the passenger seat that comes up through the floor right where someone would place their feet if they were sitting in the passenger side middle seat. I wiggled that a bit and everything started working. Obviously a short/bad connection. I have found that if I move the harness in just the right way that it will work...but only for a short time.

I've searched the internet looking for a schematic of this connector so I can try and tell which wire might be bad. I'm thinking that it's just one wire.

Does anyone know where I could get that information? It seems like it would be a simple fix but I don't want to tear into the connector (possibly breaking it) unless I know exactly which wire to go into.

Any help would be appreciated...and thanks!

Location
Any time I want
Try this first, Disconnect the connector, once disconnected on the connector that has the male terminals get a set of the smalest needled nose pliers and slightly twist the male terminals to insure a better connection into the female terminals but before you reconnect get some dielectric grease and apply some on the female terminals, reconnect and see what happens, if its the same ill get you a schematic
