I have a 99 Tahoe. I have been having a problem with the wiper and the washer fluid pump not working. It only happens to both not one at a time. One minute they work the next they don't?? Once it is on it will stay on if you turn it off and try to turn it back on it is a flip of a coin. Any ideas?

umm.. in my puke-on, under the hood, the wiper motor has a circuit board., its not fully covered by its.. cover. allowing the edge of the PCB to corrode a little. My wipers started to act funny then... like, they would just turn on by themselves for a few wipes. or when it would rain, they wouldnt wipe at all.

I tool the cover off, found the corroded part of the circuit board, and put a haywire around it. by haywire, I mean, jumper wire. I "replaced" the corroded part of the wire by going around it.

the washer pump though? hmm not sure how thats related to my problem. unlesssomething in your turn signal switch is going bad. like the "auto wash" feature or something is malfunctioning.

man, I didnt know that the motor ran both. thanks for the tip.

maybe your motor is shot. but check that PCB, in case its just a .05 cent fix. its the same 4 screws anyway.
let us know how it goes, and good luck.
