So I get home this weekend, uncover my truck and back out of the garage and I notice something funny about the drivers side tail light (Just installed LED tails about a month ago). I walk over and take a look and low and behold there is water in the taillight (Not to my surprise). Its all fogged over on the inside and really looks like s*@t. This is why I was kinda skeptical about buying them in the first place. Most everyone knows the ones I'm talking about, the smoked LED's off of Ebay. Almost every pair of aftermarket tails I see is fogged over on the inside or shows evidence of water being inside the lens. 45 minutes later after holding a hair dryer to the reverse light socket, the water is finally all gone and they look like new again. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to prevent this in the future. My plan was to just put a nice bead of silicone around the edge where the lens is sealed to the housing. Anyone have any other ideas??:mad3:

That's what I would do... my aux. driving lights were the same way... I blew out a bulb within a few days of installing it... figured out it wasn't sealed very well... LOL
