Better question is why do you want the cheapest lowering kit? Cut the rear springs and toss some 3/4 ton torsion keys in the front without aligning it, should ride like a champ.

dude, buy some springs and keys. You can find used stuff on craigslist and ebay.
You need torsion keys up front and coil springs and shock extenders in back. Shouldn't take more than a couple hours to lower the truck.

Here are some keys:

What you see in the picture is everything you will need (keys, springs, shock extenders.) I dont think this auction comes with all of it though.

I think DJM are the only people that make a 5" spring. Guys, let me know if im wrong, bc im in the market for some.

Good luck.

dont skimp on the suspension on your ride. You'll hate yourself later. and so will the truck.

Now you're talking. I'd go djm 5" rear coils, 2" front spindles, 3/4ton torsion bar keys, doetsch tech shocks front and rear. Clearance the stock bumpstops on the rear up to the frame and install a lower profile bumpstop to increase travel.

Those Bag Over Axle (BOA) setups are less than ideal. They tend towards minimal lift and poor ride quality. If you can find a way to do a triangulated forward link setup with bags on the lower bars in front of the axle or something similar but adding two more link bars behind the axle with your bags on those, you would have a better riding setup that will get you more lift.

I couldn't chop up an suv, if I did it would be an obs tahoe limited with no backseat and crazy amounts of travel from one of my nerdy cad designs. I can't wait to make real money so I can piss it all away on cars and trucks, static dropped denali will have to do for now.
