Where to run amp power cable?

Anyone have any good suggestions on where to run the power to my amp through the firewall?

There is a grommet right above the bcm that has a bunch of wires coming through. Just be careful you dont damage/sever any of them while running wire through.

Running heavy gauge power wire that will have a lot of current running through can possibly cause EMI interfrence with sensitive computer components when they are close together. It is always recommended to run high current cables away from computers. In GM trucks, I usually drill a hole on the driver's side firewall in the approximate area of where a clutch would mount in a standard trans car. Drill an appropriate size hole, use a snap-in or rubber grommet, then run the cable through. The grommet will keep the insulation from chafing through from the bare metal, protecting it from a possible short.
