One of the things that is most fun about cars for me is swapping to winter tires for a few months from Jan to March.
I'm looking at 17" Steelies with 265/70/17 blizzaks for the Tahoe. A tech mentioned to me this may stress the drivetrain since the overall size will be about 1% smaller than the stock 20" wheel setup.
I don't understand why this would be as long as I'm running 4 identical wheels/tires. But I've never had a 4wd vehicle before and I know the 12 ltz's have a ton of a electrical stuff going on, so would this put further stress on the drivetrain?
