Whats the difference between a lux and non lux nav radio??/

sorry if this has been asked, but through out the entire life of shopping and owning my 06 i have wondered this, i guess i just never thought to ask. But would really like to know.

any audio nuts know .

at first i thought it was bose or no bose. but i had bose and all the other cool stuff on my 06 but it was a non lux, only the denali had it. plus others like the escalade, and the top hummer model. But whats different???:confused2:
