What TF is a low stall torque converter

Due to my recent 3-4 gear failure I am looking for a rebuid kit. I was told I should change the torque converter, so I started asking for quotes. On the other side the sellers started asking if I want a low stall torque converter and if I want one, what settings would I like it to have :eek2: Can someone please explain?

I just had my tranny done, guy installed the Corvette stall, around 1800-2000....me, I don't like it for daily so having it pulled back out, for stock.
