I'd go with 24's too...

...Those 26's are pretty crazy. They do look cool, but mileage and performance must suffer... I can't tell if it's dropped or not, but I also hear that drop kits really mess with the ride quality from my buddies who own a reputable local custom shop -- they do tons of GM SUV mods. Man, I LOVE the Escalade ESV, but I couldn't bring myself to pay such a premium for only the name (and a few performance tweaks I can make on my own), which is why I went with the XL Denali. I'll keep my optional factory 20's (but secretly I wish I had 24's and the silky smooth ride I'm used too)... :D I'm gonna finish up my lighting and performance mods, then maybe I'll think about some wheels too.

Post some pics after you get the wheels!

26s are pretty huge. You will definitely notice a difference in mileage, performance, and braking effectiveness. I only have 24" wheels on mine, and the stopping distance has increased and brake pads are getting replaced about every 10K-12K miles. I'm upgrading from the stock 12" rotors to 14" and 4 piston calipers to help. I've done some mods just to try and gain back what I lost in fuel economy, which was roughly about 2mpg. Luckily I have 3.73 gears, which helps to get the 360 lbs worth of wheels moving from a stop.
I like the big wheel look on SUVs, but too big (like 27" and up) makes it a bit "cartoonish".
