This kind of thread does real well on other forums so I thought I would start one.

Back in November I changed the front brakes on the Denali, and I got the rear brakes in a week ago. My son and I installed the rears today and then cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body. That throttle body was NASTY! It made a big difference though, especially at idle, it didn't run rough per say, but it had an uneven idle before. But now it is smooooooooooooth and responsive again. And the brakes STOP when you hit the pedal. Now, I will also say the I completely flushed the power steering fluid in November as well and that was the second flush on that since we bought it last summer.

Hey man, all I did was let it take me to Well's Fargo bank to cash a customer check, (in a pinch) and pushed for time. It was their check, but I had to sit and wait starting at second in line to see an accounts "Banker" to take my thumb print. WHAT? Yeah. I don't need an account, I need to cash this and get out, but noooo. 15 minutes later I walk out the door. If I didn't know half the people in there I would have went off, but it is a new policy they just started. You should have seen the look on the teller's face when she told me that....lol Priceless!!!

:lol::lol::lol:

I got quite upset, my son washed it yesterday, and correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this march? Well, it was covered in pollen and a bird had taken a big nasty right on the driver's side quarter.

Yeah... :Rant:

Yeah, mine is due for the year, I buff my trucks out around the end of April, we have times when we get some pretty good freak snow storms in April so I wait until then and then steam pressure wash the undercarriage as well to get all the salt and winter grime off.

Drove to H&H Auto Sales in Galax to install EFI Live tuning on an '08 Cummins mega cab for one of their customers. When they took the truck in on trade, he didn't tell them that he had removed the emissions equipment and flashed the ecm with something to block the codes, etc but since no one knew what, when an ecm update came down the pike for it, they reflashed for the update and all hellfire broke loose. So they called me and I ordered them an EFI Live Autocal tuner and three stock tranny safe tunes and they are giving the Autocal to the customer.

Not a bad day at all...lol

Yeah, that was definitely fun indeed. That truck runs like crazy now...lol Today we went to the park for an Easter Egg hunt. I wound up cleaning the inside a little but no real detail...

Today I cleaned out the garage to take my truck off the road for a month or so for an injector cleaning. Should be a long month.
