Weird thing I noticed.

OK this is weird, I noticed the tie down rods that are in the floor the ones that hold down the third row seats get warm.:skep: We were driving around going out to dinner and shopping and as we were unloading our stuff from the back, we noticed that those seat tie down rods get warm, why is that?

Gee Mr. Wizard, why do they get hot? Probably showing my age there. Actually the tie points or latch bars are in pockets in the floor pan and therefore are exposed to the heat outside the vehicle. Unless they are warm/hot in the winter time, I wouldn't worry.

Latch bars, that is what I meant to call them, and yes that makes sense I just didnt expect that much heat to transfer.
