Was cleaning the MAF and Throttle body on 2007 6.2 liter engine. When removing the Intake Tube Assembly, to get to the throttle body, I noticed a lot of light brown & thick oil in & near the hole that connects to the PCV valve tube. Light brown is the color of oil that has mixed with water. How would water get in there? 5+ years ago I removed the Intake Tube Assembly and it was dirty, so I rinsed it with water. But I shook all of the water out and let it dry in the sun for hours. At that time I broke the PCV tube, but taped it together really well and reinstalled it. What would cause water to get in the Intake Tube Assembly? Thanks for any insight on this condition!
