You can look into one of the bluetooth speakers that clip onto the visor, I've heard good things about them. Personally I use a bluetooth headset with my blackberry. At least your looking into going hands free!!! :Chevy:

Yea, I know what you mean! I don't like using the bluetooth, but I prefer it over using my hands, and I only use it my VW and Honda, my Tahoe has a In-Dash DVD player that has bluetooth conectivity, so all I have to do is press talk on the screen and away I go! I think a while back, when cell phones were black and white, my father had is wired to the stereo, all he had to do was put it in the cradle and he could talk over the stereo. I'm pretty sure he had it done at an audio shop, so I would give that a try. Good Luck! :Chevy:

even though i have an iphone i still have a 99 cent v3 razr as my business phone (funny when they came out i rushed out to buy one and it cost me 300 bucks for a 1 year contract, now they give 4 free when you buy one for 99 cents), but i keep it on speaker and have the auto answer set to 2 RINGS, i have to answer all calls or i could possably loose business so i cant choose what to and what not to answer and i can just talk with it in the center console , my iphone on the other hand, is pure personal.

Hmmm, Rolling Thunder, interesting, I get the auto answer after 2 rings but you cant put the phone on auto speaker can you? I have a Blackberry pearl and if I could do that, it should suffice for now.

You can get the motorola bluetooth kits with the external speakers, those work pretty good, but what you can actually do is instead of using the little speaker they give you, you can tape it to the front driver side speakers if your radio has a mute wire which im pretty sure does. So when you receive a call, all your other speakers will turn lower except for the driver side speaker.

not sure about the black berry, or why it would be different, but i can turn speaker on permantly at the push of a button and it will stay on until i turn it off with the same button.

I'm pretty sure you can do it on the Pearl, I can do it on my BB 8700c, and last time I looked at the Pearl they are pretty similar, just cycle through settings... :Chevy:

Not sure what service you have, but Verizon is compatible with OnStar. You add your truck as a line on your Verizon account, its like $10.99 a month to add a line, and you share the minutes with your other phone. Works just like the OnStar phone does, hit the button and go. I have the Bluetooth pod that clips on the visor and it works great, and it is a good bit cheaper too.
