US Specs/Gulf Specs what is the difference?

HI All

I am new to the forum and am planning to buy a certified pre-owned Tahoe soon, I live in the middle east and am a little confused with the specs, I want to know the difference between a Tahoes with Gulf specs and those with US specs.

Tahoes with US specs seem to be a bit cheaper compared to he gulf spec'd siblings, wondering if I would in soup if purchased a US spec Tahoe, any suggestions??
