Upper Intake Manifold (leak)

My Tahoe was recently accidentally run into a concrete barrier after going sledding in the Texas snow/ice. As a result the part of the upper intake manifold that is used to mount the Vortec engine cover plate snapped off. This has now left a hole about size of a quarter. As a temporary fix I have glued the piece back in place. Does anyone know if this can be repaired or am I buying a new manifold.
