Update Computer for Smog Delete?

Hey guys. I removed the smog system and the Cat. Converter. I would like to know a step by step process on how to correctly tell the computer that the smog system has been deleted.

I need to know what tools or stuff i need, or is there anyone i can send the computer to, to get it done. What is the cheapest and easiest way? I do not even know where the computer is located.

This is for an 88 GMC Sierra C/1500 Pickup, 2WD Short bed w/ side steps and standard cab, manual transmission/TBI

Any help would be great, i'm kind of stuck on what to do and it is running like crap. Thank you.
