Recap for new readers:
1) Car was bought brand new, after 3500 miles, car would not start-towed to dealer.
2) after 13k miles, car won't start again - towed to the dealer
3) car won't start again - jumped and it worked
4) at 40k car won't start again - towed to the dealer - BCM replaced with $100 deductable

Now on my way to work after getting the car last thursday, the service engine light of the airbag came on .. great no airbag. i called onstar diagnostics and they said that there is a malfunction with the system and it had to be checked. i am driving 180 miles tomorrow and i have no time for a service with the vehicle, so no airbags until next week.

called customer service to see if they came up with a conclusion with what to do with my vehicle, no answer and my customer rep didn't call me back since friday. now i'm really ticked off.

called lemon law help today, and they said that i qualify for the lemon law program and they will do everything to get me a new yukon at GMC's expense or GMC pays me back the money i payed them and I get myself a new truck.

aghhh ... this has been frustrating month for me.. hope everyone is not experiencing the same problem, because this really sucks!!

Dont let them get away with a damn thing! Stay on top of it and Lemon Law that sucker.
When the N.E.Regional Director called me back in '98 they tried to swindle me out of 10K. Fortunately I did my research on the NY State Lemon Law and their offer went from taking the vehicle back and giving me 1100.00 to taking the vehicle back and me getting 11,000.00. Of course in NY they have to pay all payments you made, down payment, mods, etc.
Good Luck with this. Like I said...........stay on top of it and do your homework. It will pay off in the long run.....!!!

Good for you! Unfortunate that you have to go thru this mess, but keep pushing until you get what you want. In the end, it'll be worth it and you'll be glad you stayed on top of it--because when it comes right down to it, YOU'RE COMPLETELY IN THE RIGHT and they OWE you a better product!!!

Good luck on this matter. Like everyone else mentioned, stay on it, and you should end up with a new truck.
