Typical: What to look for when buying.

So,
I've been a Jeep guy for the last 10 years.

I've also owned 28 cars in the last 10 years.

My wife of 1.5 years has a 2011 Jeep Patriot. :doublepuke:

The only thing she will sell it for is a Tahoe.

I'm looking to find a Tahoe for around $8,000. Most of them around here have about 150k.

I assume I want the 5.3L. Seems to be a decent engine.


What should I look for? What are typical problems? What should I avoid?
