I have a new 2013 Tahoe with nav. I've noticed that when I hit the Nav button to view the map, by default the xm radio turns on. Is there any way to view navigation screen without audio from xm, radio, or aux? Anyway besides turning down volume, that is...

Thanks

I may not understand your question, but I think you want the Full screen nav to display?
Push the nav button one more time.

Thanks for reply, but I'm actually looking for a way for nav to be on but audio (radio) to be off. In my vehicle, if you turn on nav, the radio also comes on.

Same work around here. My wife has the nasty habit of turning the radio off even when I want the nav system on. Only work around i've found is the mute the volume.

I've noticed this too and it is yet another poor engineering job. I have issued with the Air/Heat controls. There are certain combinations of settings that are not allowed and the light on the button just flashes. For instance, I should be able to use inside air (recirculate) whenever I want and yet under certain selections, it will not allow. Also, why wasn't the clock designed to pull time from the cell towers, XM satillites, or GPS satillites?
