I had a TPMS sensor quit transmitting. Ordered an online replacement and paid the local shop kid to break down the tire and replace. Brought the truck (2007 Yukon Denali) back home and did the relearn procedure. All went well, got the honks, and I'm getting the pressures on all four tires. The problem is that the dash warning light is still on. Tire (!). How do you get this to go out, or does it take a certain number of cycles?

Chances are is the rcdlr which is what receives the tpm sensor signal needs to be reset, meaning a scan tool is needed to reset it and program what tire pressure should be at, what you can try first is setting them at 30 psi per specs thats on the drivers door jam labal if that doesn't work you going to need to have the rcdlr reset ill post a pick later once I get my lazy ass up and show you what I mean

I think it's solved. This morning, the first try was to start the truck. Warning still present, so I disconnected the negative battery cable for approximately 30 minutes. When I reconnected the cable and started it, the light was out.

I tried the battery disconnect. Anyone have another suggestion? A scan tool at a local repair shop was not success as was the learning program. All tires, including spare, are properly inflated. Al
