Trouble firing it up

Hey everyone I have a question about my 1996 Chevy Tahoe. It has been running great with absolutely no problems up until we got some bad weather in our area. It rained for about 4 days straight and I didn't get to drive it around to much during that time. When I did go to fire it up afterwards, it would turn over but wouldn't fire. I figured it was due to the moisture and sure enough after a couple of sunny days it started up fine. But recently I've had the same problem except this time there wasn't any rain to blame. It still turns over like normal but it just won't fire. Would anyone know what the problem might be? Thank you!

Like no cylinders hitting at all or just not enough to keep it running/ started? When it is doing this, try squirting some carb cleaner into the intake and see if it will fire off for a few seconds (few seconds of carb cleaner spray directly into the intake would be sufficient.)

If it fires and dies then you have a fueling issue.

If it doesnt fire then we either have an overfueling, ignition, or compression issue.

The cylinders aren't hitting. I will definitely give that a try though, thank you!

Turns out it still won't fire. Are there any quick things I can check to figure out whether it is overfueling, ignition, or compression specifically?

What did you try?

Check and make shure you have spark....
