transmission question

after being quoted $2500 to rebuild my trans in my 1996 tahoe i came across this tci maximizer transmission at jegs for $3000 and jegs is only a little over hr away (no shipping that way) but says only fits b body trucks anyone know why?i can't figure out why it wouldn't hit my tahoe it is tci pt#37101op1 it is a kit that includes torque convertor.i figured if this transmission would work it might hold up better behind the 383 i'm planning

never mind after i looked at tci website the transmission fits trucks and b bodies
not a big gm guy but i know i'd never heard of a b body truck!
