Ok this has been ongoing for about a month now. First, it started with the tach gauges going off and on and the check gauges light coming on. Now When I shift from park to drive, the transmission always starts out in 4th gear, I know this because when I go to accelerate all the way up to 80, I never feel a shift and when I am first starting out, I have to almost push the pedal 3/4 of the way down just to get the truck moving. so it satrts out and 4th and stays in 4th gear all the time. But now I can shift it from park to 1st and it will start in 1st as shifted as well as 2nd, 3rd. But in DRIVE mode, it won't start out in 1st. Nor will it at per say 40mph , when I get on it, downshift to speed up, it just likes to stay in 4th gear always, unless like I said I manually shift it, which I have only done once. I mean it is pathetic, I went to cross a parking lot stop and it could barely make it, I had to back up and go over it with momentum. This truck should easily be able to crawl a 8 inch parking stop.
