Transfer Case Button Selector Problems

Have a 2006 Z71 Tahoe and just had a weird problem occur last night while driving. The transfer case kept slipping into neutral. Now we figured out it was being caused by the transfer case buttons, as it only did it when we were in the "2wd" button. We drove the rest of our trip okay in the "auto 4wd" and it never slipped into neutra againl. At this point, we're pretty sure its the button selector that's causing it.

Any one have this problem or heard of it?

I had the same problem with my 2003. I changed out the switch and kept having the problem. It's the case underneath. If I remember it was about $500 for the local shop to replace.
