New to the forum
I've searched for hours and hoped to find stickies but to no avail.
My brother has an 02 Tahoe with 5.3 with 140k miles. Last week the tahoe displayed reduced engine power and I found the culprit to be No Coolant from a bad water pump.
Two days ago the tranny fluid completely leaked out from a Trans line that is patched with 3/8 hose. With the hose repair and transfluid replenished the Trans pulls great for about 2 minutes then completely slips as of to be in limp mode(yet no reduced engine power displayed)
Water pump has not been replaced yet and CEL is on and will get the codes pulled today.
Any suggestions on shat the Trans issue could be?
