I'm a new member, I bought a 96 2DR Chevy Tahoe it's a 4X4 and I'm having trans problems I took it to a shop so that they can check the computer and 2 codes came up at the moment I don't have the codes but the guy say it's the trans the person I bought it from had just changed it, I've been driving the truck for a week now and just 2 days ago everytime I step on the gas pedal the truck was forcing itself....

You say that the guy you bought it from just had the transmission replaced? Maybe it's still under warranty. How long ago was it replaced? Usually the warranty is transferable. I replaced the transmission in my 97 k1500 a few years ago (dealer installed), and the warranty was for 3 years/50k miles. The warranty transferred to the new owner when I sold it.

Yeah I'll post the codes tomorrow.....I called the guy and he needs to look for the receipt because the trans is still under warranty, the truck is all stock and I'm going to customized it I will also post some pictures tomorrow, I'm going to be selling the fender flares and the steel running boards...
