Trans Filter Change help

Any idea how to easily change the Trans Filter? The cross pipe is in the way to fully remove the pan. I really don't want to take the exhaust off. Any help is apprecitated...

Helped a friend change his trans filter on his '02 Z71 Suburban. His pipe was in the way too. Took a crow bar and was able to pry it down just far enough to get the pan out and back in. Maybe worth a try?? I know the pipe on my '04 Z71 appears further down and out of the way.

i did the same thing, just pry it a little, but dont break anything. then everything was smooth sailing
